Here in Cedar City, when you mail a Santa letter, someone either at the post office or Lin's (the grocery store) writes back to the kids. This year, I helped the kids write Santa letters and then Chris took them to the store to mail them. On Tuesday, the kids got return letters from Santa. In Shelby's letter it says "I'm planning an extra special present for you this year." Ok, no big deal... Apparently, she also wrote a letter to Santa at school. Well, Wednesday she got her return letter delivered to the school. In it, this "Santa" wrote "I'm going to try to get you some Hannah Montana stuff (cool, done, no big deal) and a Wii." What the H? She has never mentioned wanting a Wii, not that she'd get one anyway. Now, she's all excited because she thinks that a Wii is her "extra special present". Does the person writing this letter not have kids? You don't promise a kid a $300+ present in a letter from Santa. Oh well, she's getting her big present that she asked for on her letter that I saw!!!!!
I'm soooo excited for Morgan to get her present this year!!! She saw it in the store and Chris literally had to CARRY her out of the store! I know Shelby will like the one we got her too! Preston doesn't really care. He says he doesn't want Christmas presents. He wants "just because" presents. I said "Ok, you can have some "just because" presents...on Christmas!"

Yikes! What the heck Santa!?!?! Justin got a Wii for his birthday back in August and it counts as his Christmas present too (if I'm spending that kind of money on something - it's pulling double duty)!! That's insane that he promised her a Wii. Maybe he thought she was someone else...
