"KIAI"

Here’s a picture of Preston in his new Gi. He’s so cute. He just kept saying, “This is too big for me.” He got to try to break a board today. He didn’t do so well with the boards, but he’ll figure it out. When he got home he asked if he could sleep in his gi. I told him that would be fine, but he’d have to take it off for dinner. Suddenly he wasn’t hungry anymore.
The teacher told me he would also need a cup. I almost laughed in her face when she suggested I get it for him for Christmas and told me “Maybe as a stocking stuffer”. Why did I almost laugh in her face? Several reasons:
1)It totally caught me off guard, so the brain to mouth filter was barely able to suppress my inner child's giggle.
2) I didn’t know they made them that small.
3) There’s no way in hell he’s gonna wear that thing.
4) I could just see Auggie’s face when Preston pulled that thing out of his stocking on Christmas morning.

I’ll have to do some looking, but I’m pretty sure I can find a more appropriate Christmas present.

A cup!!! That's the funniest thing I've heard all week!! You'll have to keep us informed on whether you decide to get one and what Preston does with it.

Don't worry about your brain to mouth filter. Mine is broken too. Justin was called to be our Elder's Quorum President a few weeks ago and when the stake president told me I started to laugh pretty hard. Wrong reaction, but my filter is also broken!

Wait until they get in Jr. High and play football or baseball...They do "cup checks" meaning....Let's see how hard we can hit you there before it hurts.
