TRICK OR TREAT -HAPPY HALLOWEEN- TRICK OR TREAT

This past week has been a lot of fun.
Thursday- both girls had Halloween parties at dance and Preston had his first party at school. He had so much fun. Apparently, his mask scared all the other kids in his class. His teacher said that one of the little girls (whom Preston CANNOT stand) was particularly scared of it. Mrs. Slack said that he'd put his mask down over his face and sneak up behind her and call her name, then roar at her when she turned around. Mrs. Slack thought it was funny because it's usually Preston that's getting harassed by this little girl.
After dance class, Chris carved pumpkins with the kids. Preston wanted absolutely no part of cleaning the pumpkins out. Since when is he scared of getting dirty?
Friday- the girls had a parade at school. They both got to wear their Halloween costumes and had a really good time.
Chris got home early this afternoon. Mark this day on the calendar! He helped me get the kids dressed and off we went trick or treating.
Shelby's Chakita Banana Lady hat lasted about 5 houses. Oh well, she looked cute.
Morgan's "Hannah Montana" wig lasted about 10 houses, before Chris started wearing it. He looked like a drag queen on crack. It made the kids laugh though, so who cares.
Preston ran as fast as he could to every single house. When he'd get to the door he was DEAD SILENT, then as he ran away (after he got candy) he'd yell, "TRICK OR TREAT HAPPY HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT HAPPY HALLOWEEN" all the way to the next house, then---SILENCE! It was pretty funny.
We got home and Chris started a movie. The girls handed out candy to trick or treaters. Honestly, I think they had more fun doing that than anything. We checked the candy for "questionable pieces". Isn't it funny how many butterfingers, snickers, reeses, and kit kats end up in the questionable pile. At least in our house they do. Wonder why that is?

All the good chocolate ends up in our questionable pile too. It's going to be a sad, sad day when they figure out that those are the good pieces and try to give us the smarties. I love Shelby's costume! I haven't seen anything like it - too cute!
