Sunday morning I was sitting at work and I got a text saying that Preston was puking... GREAT!!.. Chris and the kids picked me up from work on the way to Vegas and he puked again... then we got to St. George and he puked AGAIN!! Then Shelby started throwing up (that sounds more lady like if you ask me haha) I asked Chris what he wanted to do and he said he still wanted to go. I figured that he's the one that the drunk redneck in front of us would punch when the kids puked on him, so if he still wanted to go then that was fine with me HA! Luckily, by the time we got to Vegas, the kids stomachs had settled down and they were STOKED!!
Now, I will admit that I am a people watcher and NASCAR is just a people watchers dream!! I seriously thought I'd died and gone to heaven! Look at this picture below:This is at the SPEED Channel's Pre-Race broadcast. The guy in front of us could obviously not afford a hair cut or TEETH, yet he could afford that $200 Nascar coat to wear to an OUTDOOR event in LAS VEGAS!!! Let me tell you something about Vegas... IT'S FRICKIN' HOT!!! I swear all those hands waving in the air reminds me of the Church Revivals on TV when the people are waving their hands back and forth in Praise!
Our seats were in the "sponsor seats" right between turns 3 and 4. The best seats? ...Uh, NO!! But they were free so who cares. The track in Vegas is pretty small so you can see all the way around it anyway!
Chris and the kids
Morgan was such a "Mama's girl" at the race. She stuck by me the entire time!
This picture says it all!!! He had a ball!
Morgan decided that she liked "The M&M" car. It killed us that she likes one of the "Bush Bros." but oh well. She was pretty cute, even though she started the race by being pretty darn obnoxious to the rest of us cause her guy was "winning our guy". (The rest of us like Jr.) If you watched the race, you know that Kyle Bush (the m&m car) had some car trouble and that shut her up pretty darn quick hahahaha
She's such a "band-wagon" fan! HA!
We had such a great time hanging out together and doing something a little different. The kids had fun and Chris and I had more fun watching them than we did the race.

I am so glad you all had such a good time. I probably saw more of the race here at home, but I know it was more exciting being where you were.

This was my 2nd NASCAR race and Chris' 3rd!
