Season of Love...

I can't believe that it's already Valentines Day again (ok so almost) I decided to get a jump start on Morgan and Preston's boxes for their class parties this year so that I'm not rushing to do them at the last minute. (And the fact that I'm on day 13 of 15 work days in a row and I'm bored out of my mind and desperately need stuff to keep me awake has noooothing to do with it.... I'm just trying to stay on the ball!)
First of all, let me just tell ya... I NEVER realized what a giant pain in the butt doing a V-Day box for a little boy would be. He scoffed at everything I suggested cause, "I'm not a girl or a (insert a word that I was not necessarily aware that he knew)" Seriously, I was ready to wring his neck by the time we got out of the craft store. But we finally found something we could both agree on. Ok, so it's not at all "Valentine-sy" but oh well... work with me here! I got a plastic pot that looks like a terra cotta pot, scrapbook paper, a stuffed animal and stickers.
Here's the front:
And the Back

Morgan's was a little easier. Little Miss Sassy Pants is on a zebra and hot pink kick so I thought these would be perfect for her. It's an empty paint can, scrapbook paper, ribbon and stickers.
The Back

We didn't forget about Shelby. Her teacher hasn't really said if they need boxes this year or not, so she decided that she was just going to use the one she had last year since she'd put it away and it's still in good shape. (Did I mention she's currently my favorite child...just sayin') So here's a reminder of what hers looked like last year .

Can I just say that whoever invented the hot glue gun should have a special place reserved in heaven... I can't paint or sew or crochet or anything else, but give me a glue gun and I'll go to town! HA!
