Ninja

So as many of you know, Shelby is absolutely FASCINATED by "Japapanians" (as she calls them) We've had a little Japanese steakhouse in town for a few years and she's always wanted to go, but for one reason or another, I've just never taken her. Well today we went on a Mommy/Daughters date and she asked to go. OH MY WORD, all the staff are Japanese so she was just in little people watcher heaven. The waiters were so good to the girls. They gave them little "trainer chopsticks". I swear you can't take this child anywhere!

Shelby was so excited to use her little chopsticks she just couldn't wait for something that she could actually PICK UP with them. Here, she's using the chopsticks to hold the spoon to eat her soup.... Nerdlet!

 I decided to see how the girls would react to sushi. Now I'm not a fish eater AT ALL!! But Morgan does like it.

Morgan took one of the pieces and popped it into her mouth. Just as she did, I said, "You realize sushi is raw fish and seaweed right?" All of a sudden she let out the biggest gagging noise you've ever heard as she let the bite drop from her mouth onto the plate. Oh and did I mention that the place was PACKED? Yea, it was! Luckily everyone around us thought it was funny. Good thing cause I was BUSTING UP!!!!Shelby actually managed to eat 2 bites before she was DONE!
After lunch, we did a little shopping together.  I had so much fun with my little munchkins.
